A Columbian emerald and transitional cut diamond three stone ring set in platinum with a 950 mark inside the shank for 95% purity and the hallmark for Sheffield, date letter illegible, circa 1950. The ring has a central octagonal step cut Columbian emerald of approximately 2.05 carats and two surrounding diamonds of approximately 1.40 carats, H-1 colour, Sli-SI2 clarity.
