This is a wonderful a bracelet made from a collection of slides from Victorian guard chains. The slides take a mix of shapes—hearts, stars, circles, squares, rectangles—and they all bear gemstones set as stars, making for a lovely celestial-themed piece!
I love, love, love this bracelet, but just couldn’t bring myself to shorten it, since it has so much historical charm.
It has its quirks, some of the stones are paste and other are gemstones – it depends on the particular slide! Likewise, the clasp, beads, and chain are 10k gold but the slides themselves are a mix of 10k and 14k.
